The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Room Leader to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Room Leader, you will lead your team with enthusiasm and professionalism, creating a positive and inspiring learning environment for children aged 0–5 years.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of educators within your designated room.
  • Develop and implement high-quality educational programs in line with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and the wider community.
  • Ensure compliance with the National Quality Standards (NQS) and centre policies.
  • Regularly document and reflect on children's learning and development.

About You

  • Diploma or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent).
  • Current Working with Children Check (NSW).
  • First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (HLTAID012).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar leadership role within early childhood.
  • Strong understanding of EYLF, NQF and NQS.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A genuine passion for early childhood education and development.
