This is a diverse and rewarding position where you will:

• Support children’s learning and development through intentional teaching, play-based experiences, and responsive relationships that promote curiosity, independence, and belonging.
• Assist in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs that reflect the Early Years Learning Framework and individual learning goals.
• Contribute to documentation and observation of children’s development and share information with families in a respectful, professional manner.
• Maintain safe, healthy, and hygienic environments, supporting meal routines, cleaning tasks, and daily setup/pack-up as part of shared team duties.
• Uphold preschool policies and ensure compliance with the Education and Care Services National Regulations and Law.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to create inclusive and engaging environments for all children, including those with additional needs.
• Liaise with families and the community, building relationships that strengthen the preschool’s inclusive and welcoming culture.
• Assist with administrative duties such as enrolment forms, attendance records, communication logs, and inventory management.
• Educators at this level may be directed by an Early Childhood Teacher or Diploma Educator, and are expected to show initiative, sound judgment, and a commitment to teamwork and reflective practice.
• Undertake administration responsibilities, including assisting with enrolment documentation, maintaining child and family records, preparing newsletters, and supporting family communications and updates.

What We’re Looking For

• A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, or a Certificate III with experience and working towards and near completion of a Diploma level.
• Current Working with Children Check, First Aid, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training.
• Sound understanding of the National Quality Framework, Education and Care Services National Regulations, and EYLF.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with initiative and professionalism.
• Commitment to embedding inclusive, collaborative, and innovative practices in daily work.
