HC Truck & Dog Driver

The Role:

Keevers Haulage is looking for an experienced Truck and Dog Operator to join our team. The main focus of the position is driving and delivery of quarry materials to customer projects & sites. The nature of the work requires flexibility to work Monday to Saturday. This position is based in the Muswellbrook area.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current HC (heavy combination) driver's licence with a good driving history.

• WHS Induction for the construction industry (White card).

• Previous truck and dog experience. Must be accomplished in reversing and jack-knifing a dog trailer. 

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant transport laws and regulations, sound understanding of axle weights for PBS truck.

• Road ranger experience essential.

Preferred Criteria:

• Able to conduct pre-start checklists of equipment

• Mechanical aptitude

• Ability to work unsupervised and follow directions

• Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles, inside and out

• Quarry and construction site experience

• Team player

• Safety conscious
