Join MSS Security as Security Officer at the Bond University, Robina Campus on a full time basis, with free on-site parking and a pay rate of $28.04 + super and shift penalties where applicable.



About the role

MSS Security is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to join our team at Bond University on the Gold Coast. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of the campus. You will be responsible for conducting foot patrols, securing buildings, and providing support to students, staff, and visitors.


Duties include but are not limited to:

• Conducting foot patrols, ensuring people are safe and buildings are secure.
• Escort individuals to and from various locations around the site as required.
• Ensuring property is locked and unlocked as required.
• Provide clear directions and assistance to students, staff, and visitors to ensure they can navigate the campus efficiently.
• Write reports in response to incidents or unusual activity, ensuring all information is documented.
• Communicate calmly, clearly, and effectively with staff, students, and visitors.​

Ideal candidates will have:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills and professional presentation.
• Proven experience working in the security industry.
• Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster (Predominately Night Shifts)
• Ability to walk up to 15-20km a day.

Requirements:

• Certificate II in Security Operations
• Valid Queensland Security license
• Working with children check (or willing to obtain)
• First Aid and CPR certificates (or willing to obtain)
• Full Australian working rights
• Valid QLD Drivers licence
