Experienced Scaffolders (SA & SI) – Industrial Projects | Newcastle / Hunter / Central Coast
Location: Newcastle, Hunter Valley, and Central Coast region
Hours: 48 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Employment Type: Full-time (contract or ongoing depending on project)
Freyssinet Australia is a specialist contractor delivering complex engineering solutions in remediation, civil, and building works. We are currently seeking experienced Scaffolders (SA & SI licensed) to join our team for upcoming industrial projects across the Newcastle, Hunter, and Central Coast regions.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced scaffolders to work with a leading contractor on long-term projects within a high-performing and safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Erect, modify, and dismantle Ringlock scaffolding systems
Support site and engineering teams across a variety of remedial and structural projects
Ensure scaffolding complies with site and safety standards
Work in hot and heavy industrial environments, including at heights or confined spaces
Wear required site-specific PPE, including fire-resistant (FR) clothing
Assist with general labouring tasks as needed to maintain progress and site safety
Requirements:
Current SA or SI scaffolding licence (valid and recognised in Australia)
Demonstrated experience with Ringlock scaffolding systems
Previous industrial site experience (e.g. mining, ports, energy, infrastructure)
Comfortable working in hot, physically demanding conditions
Ability and willingness to wear fire-resistant (FR) clothing on site
Available to work 48 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug & alcohol screening
Strong safety focus and ability to comply with industrial site protocols
