About the role

We are seeking a skilled Butcher to join our team in Melton West, Victoria. This is a full-time position.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cutting a wide variety of meats, including beef, lamb, pork, and poultry, to customer specifications

• Packaging and labelling meat products for retail sale

• Providing exceptional customer service and advice on product selection and preparation

• Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic work environment

• Assisting with inventory management and stock control

• Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of our operations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a qualified Butcher, with a strong understanding of meat cutting techniques and food safety regulations

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to provide knowledgeable advice to customers

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Commitment to maintaining a clean and organised work environment
