Hindmarsh Plumbing was established in 1973 as a part of the Sarah Group, with the purpose of delivering superior commercial plumbing services across South Australia and Western Australia. We are experts in commercial and industrial construction, maintenance plumbing and water treatment. We are seeking a candidate to assist with building up our Service Division in Western Australia to cover all aspects of commercial plumbing.
What your day-to-day could look like
As a member of the Service and Maintenance Team and reporting to the National Service Manager, key responsibilities of the Service Manager will include;
Oversee daily operations of the WA Service Division, ensuring service jobs are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard, while resolving operational issues as they arise.
Engage with existing clients to maintain strong relationships, manage service expectations, and identify opportunities for additional work or long-term contracts.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including quoting, tendering, and presenting the company’s capabilities to potential clients to support revenue growth.
Manage and support the service team, including scheduling, performance management, recruitment, and training to ensure high morale, capability, and productivity.
Monitor financial and operational performance, including budgets, margins, and KPIs, and report regularly to senior management while contributing to broader strategic planning initiatives.

What we are looking for?

You will possess the following experience, skills and qualifications:
A current Western Australian Plumbers and Gas Fitters License;
Current Class C Driver’s License;
Experience in leading, mentoring and coaching teams to achieve ongoing success;
Previous experience with process improvement;
Knowledge and understanding of quality assurance processes as they relate to project management, hydraulic and mechanical plumbing;
Knowledge and thorough understanding of the AS3500: National Plumbing Code, AS5601: Gas Installations and Plumbers, Gasfitters and Electricians Act 1995; and
Ability to travel interstate from time to time.
