Greenkeeper

We’re on the lookout for a skilled and passionate Greenkeeper to take the lead in maintaining our greens and grounds. This is a hands-on full time role. You will work independently while also being supported by our experienced team of staff 

Responsibilities

• Ensure natural turf greens are maintained to a competitive standard throughout the year.

• Carry out tasks such as mowing, rolling, top-dressing, fertilizing, weeding, and irrigating.

• Operate, service, and maintain a variety of turf care equipment and tools.

• Monitor the health of the turf and implement pest and disease control when necessary.

• Care for garden beds and surrounding areas of the Club.

• Adhere to workplace health and safety standards, including proper chemical handling procedures.

• Collaborate closely with Club Management & committees

Qualifications

• Preferably hold a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management (or equivalent)

• Previous experience with bowling greens is highly preferred

• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently

• Excellent attention to detail and a true passion for maintaining high-quality turf

• A valid driver’s license and Chemical Certificate are highly valued

• Willingness to work early mornings and occasional weekends is required
