Truck Driver

About the role

RPC Dalby Pty Ltd is seeking a full-time Truck Driver (feed truck or road trains) to join our team mainly around Proston, Toowoomba, Darling Downs and Warwick area in Queensland, with no or little interstate travel. In this essential role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of feeds and pigs to support our farming and agricultural operations.

What you'll be doing

• Safely operating heavy vehicles and machinery, including semi-trailers and other large trucks

• Transporting feeds between feed mill and farm sites and transporting pig from farm to Swickers Kingaroy.

• Performing pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections on your assigned vehicle

• Adhering to all relevant road rules, transport regulations, and company safety policies

• Maintaining accurate records of driving hours, distances, and delivery details

• Assisting with the loading and unloading as needed

What we're looking for

• At least a valid Heavy Combination (HC) driver's licence.

• Demonstrated experience operating heavy vehicles and machinery in a commercial or agricultural setting

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety

• The ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• A flexible approach to working hours, including the ability to work overtime and weekends as required
