Full Time - Child Care Worker - Riverstone

Banyan Tree Early Learning Centre (BTELC) is seeking a dedicated Child Care Worker to foster children's growth and learning within our vibrant educational environment. Tasks & responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of inclusive, play-based learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Create stimulating environments that reflect children's interests, strengths, and developmental goals
• Observe, assess, and document each child's learning and wellbeing using a variety of assessment methods
• Support children’s emotional, social, and behavioural development in a respectful and positive way
• Foster strong, respectful relationships with families and maintain open, supportive communication
• Supervise and guide a team of educators, promoting consistency, collaboration, and professional growth
• Ensure daily routines, including mealtimes and rest periods, are managed smoothly and meet children’s individual needs
• Oversee hygiene and cleanliness within learning spaces to ensure a safe, healthy environment
• Assist in the planning and supervision of excursions, incursions, and special events
• Contribute to ongoing reflection and improvement of centre practices in line with quality standards

Qualifications & experience

Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent 

Minimum 1 year of experience required in early childhood education settings.

Strong knowledge of EYLF and educational programming required.

Current Working With Children Check.

Current certifications:

• HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR)
• HLTAID010 – Provide basic emergency life support
• HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
• HLTAID012 – Provide emergency first aid response in an education and care setting

Child Protection Refresher course

Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
