About the business and the role

SAE Energy is a well-established and fast-growing company specialising in Level 1 Essential Energy, Ergon & Energex overhead and underground reticulation. SAE Energy has had year on year growth with a number of successful projects won recently. 

Job tasks and responsibilities

You will be working on various URD Subdivision jobs. Installing electrical infrastructure pit and pipe, cable hauling and street lighting for the Energex and Essential Energy network. Energex core work rates apply - hourly rate $50+

You will be responsible for:

• Conduit installation
• Back filling trenches
• Assistance with the installation of HV & LV cabling
• Installation of pillars and pits
• Assist with the installation of electrical assets (PMTs, RMU's, LCC Substations, Switchboards)
• Street Lighting installation

Skills and experience

• Previous experience as a Labourer in a civil environment. 
• A current drivers licence
• Current Construction Induction card
• MR, HR or HC licence will be highly regarded
• Motivated, results focused, problem solver.
• Willing to fit in the with the team.
• Maintaining high safety standards and driving a culture of safety excellence
