About the business and the role

Hedland Auto Electrics is a busy, locally owned and run business with an emphasis on providing a family friendly work environment.  We would like to welcome a new member to the HAE family.  The successful candidate must be highly motivated and easy going.  A positive attitude is a must. 

Job tasks and responsibilities

You will be completing auto electrical repairs and installation of various electrical systems and accessories as required.  Air conditioning diagnosis and repairs to a very high standard.  You will be responsible for maintaining stock levels in your supplied vehicle and completing required job cards on a cloud based scheduling system.

Skills and experience

Most of our work is in the Port Hedland area, but occasionally you will be required to travel to various work sites in the region.  You will have your own fully fitted out field service vehicle.  Experience working on trucks and earthmoving equipment is desired. The role is also open to suitable 3rd or 4th year apprentices if they have the required experience and attitude.

Job benefits and perks

Housing will be supplied to the selected applicant as this is a residential role.  As part of this role you will be supplied with your own service vehicle which you will take home each day. The role is 5 days a week,  7am to 5pm with a rotating weekend roster (½ day  each second Saturday)
