The Kitchen Centre, a well-established family business with over 30 years of experience, is seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker/Joiner & Onsite Kitchen Installer to join our growing team. We have showrooms in Launceston, Hobart, and Kingston, with a new showroom opening soon in Devonport. Our factory is based in Launceston.

 

Role Overview:

You will be responsible for the professional installation of high-quality kitchens, vanities, wardrobes, and other joinery projects in residential and commercial settings throughout Tasmania.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurate and efficient installation of kitchen cabinetry, benchtops, and associated joinery.
• Installation of vanities, wardrobes, and other custom joinery.
• Ensuring all installations meet our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborating effectively with team members and clients.
• Troubleshooting and resolving on-site installation challenges.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

 

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Formal qualification in Cabinetmaking/Joinery or proven equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in installing kitchens, vanities, and wardrobes.
• Strong ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.   
• Valid manual driver's license.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
