About the company 

Waterproofing Integrity aims to deliver value to our clients by providing effective waterproofing design and quality control services in order to achieve compliance requirements and prevent costly rectification. 

Our team of inspection technicians are trained in the use of state-of-the-art testing and diagnostic equipment to provide quantitative reports on any waterproofing system, ensuring compliance with industry standards. We work across a large number of projects to provide design guidance, quality assurance and diagnostic investigations.

The Role 

Support our clients by delivering onsite inspection, testing and reporting on construction waterproofing systems in this self-managed, flexible position. 

Servicing our clients across Newcastle, Cental Coast, North Coast and Cental West regions as required by our client base. As the primary inspector for a selected group of projects you will be the primary onsite contact for inspection and design of waterproofing systems required throughout the construction stage of the project, with the full support of the WI office team. 

Training will be provided on utilising equipment, understanding compliance and compiling reports and ongoing training is a company aim.  The salary package offered for this role is variable based on skills, experience and independence.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Autonomous management of allocated projects and clients
  • Onsite inspection and testing of waterproofing systems
  • Observing for compliance with Australian Standards
  • Development and submission of reports to clients 
  • Development and maintenance of clients relationships through effective delivery of services

Skills and experience

  • Knowledge of waterproofing products commonly used
  • Knowledge of quality systems, policies and procedures
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to liaise with internal and external contacts at all levels
  • Computer literacy 
  • Confidence managing ad-hoc requests, handling multiple projects at once
  • Experience with commercial and infrastructure construction

The successful candidate must hold a valid Australian Drivers License and a White Card. 

A company vehicle and expense card is provided for this position. 

Desirable qualifications

  • NACE Level 1 or 2
  • Waterproofing specialist training, experience and/or qualifications
  • Qualifications in related field (Engineering, Building Inspections, etc)
