Australian Auto Accessories / Performance Warehouse has been supplying premium quality automotive parts and accessories to Aussie car enthusiasts for over 40 years. 

We offer hundreds of products for a variety of makes and models, from modern vehicles to classic, custom and muscle cars. Our products are recognised for being of the highest standard and quality.

The Role:

A great opportunity exists for a full time Salesperson to join our friendly team in Bayswater, in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne. You will be working in our showroom located in a modern business park with free onsite parking.

We are looking for an experienced Salesperson who has mechanical knowledge and aptitude, is computer literate and has excellent communication skills.  Ideally you would have an interest in early model American and/or Australian cars and an affinity for automotive parts and accessories. 

Responsibilities:

• Selling automotive parts and accessories to our passionate retail and trade customer base by phone, email and in the showroom.
• Performing prospecting and follow up phone calls.
• Preparing quotes and processing sales orders.
• Providing customer service and processing point of sale. 
• Interpreting orders, providing informed advice and problem solving.
• Monitoring product stock levels. 
• There may be some backup general warehouse duties required from time to time.

Skills & Attributes:

• Sound mechanical knowledge and aptitude is essential.
• A working knowledge of computers is essential for processing sales, emailing customers and accessing our online stores. 
• Experience in selling automotive parts and accessories would be viewed favourably.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A professional phone manner.
• Ability to work as part of a team, with a focus on giving excellent customer service.
