Role Responsibilities:

  • Attend daily pre-start & toolbox briefings as required
  • Assist in operations in line with other construction activities
  • Mixing, pouring, screeding, edging and finishing concrete
  • Use of specialist concrete hand and power tools (including but not limited to); mixers, screeds, trowels, floats, edgers, vibrators, brooms, 
  • Assistance to strip and remove formwork
  • Assistance with steel reinforcement
  • General housekeeping and cleaning of site, plant and equipment
  • Use of hand and power tools where required and suitably trained
  • Follow instruction from leading hand and site manager
  • Perform all tasks safely in accordance with SWG policies and current legislation

To be considered for the role you must have the following:

  • Construction Industry White Card
  • Minimum of 3 year/s experience in a concreting role
  • Able to fulfil manual tasks
  • White Card
  • Australian working rights
  • Highly motivated and positive, can do, attitude towards tasks
  • Be honest, a team player, reliable and consistent
  • Good communication skills
