About the Role:

As a Qualified Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Technician with Toowoomba Air, you will be responsible for the installation, service maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of various air conditioning and refrigeration systems within residential, commercial, and government environments. With a focus on delivering exceptional quality, you play a key role in developing our exceptional apprentices into experienced technicians. You will utilise your hands-on skills, leadership abilities, and technical expertise to provide our clients with excellent and high quality service. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the installation of air conditioning and refrigeration systems in various environments.
• Perform routine maintenance of a wide range of air conditioning and refrigeration units, ensuring optimal performance.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults in air conditioning and refrigeration systems, applying advanced problem-solving skills.
• Train, mentor, and support our apprentices, providing guidance to help them develop their skills and knowledge in the trade.
• Ensure all work is completed on time, to a high standard of quality and safety.
• Promote and maintain a culture of safety and professionalism within the team.
• Be a key part of the growth and development of our small businesses.
• Provide exceptional customer service ensuring their needs are met, and maintaining strong client relationships.

About You:

• Completion of a Certificate III in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent qualification.
• Strong technical expertise and hands-on skills.
• Demonstrated organisational skills, including the ability to manage projects, allocate resources, and oversee multiple tasks effectively.
• Leadership mentality, with the ability to inspire and guide up and coming technicians.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Charismatic personality and excellent customer service skills.
• Willingness to further develop leadership and organisational skills to take on greater responsibilities.
