Key responsibilities include

• Accurate, timely and efficient preparation of quotes
• Liaison with customers (owners, insurers and assessors) to ensure they are provided with relevant information
• Follow the job as it progresses, updating required parties and systems along the way
• Estimating both private and insurance related vehicles
• Providing timely and accurate estimates
• Ensuring a smooth process from start to finish

 

Experience, skills and qualifications 

• Trade qualification as a diesel mechanic, panel beater, body maker or boiler maker. Previous experience in heavy vehicles is a must
• Previous estimating experience will be highly regarded
• Strong computer literacy, including the ability to learn our computer system (iBodyshop) to deliver an efficient and effective service to our business
• Excellent communication skills and a positive work ethic
• High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
• Ability to build relationships with customers and assessors
• Can multitask and work well under pressure
• Able to work effectively within a team
