Fleet Controller

Paddock to Port is a Container Management & Transport business based in the western suburbs of Melbourne. We offer a range of services for our clients, from container management to quarantine and warehousing.

We are currently seeking a Fleet Controller to join a successful and thriving business. 

 Duties and Responsibilities

• Prioritise fleet workloads
• Allocation of deliveries to contract drivers ensuring job deadlines are met
• Liaise with sub-contract owner-drivers and customer service
• Ensure the fleet operates efficiently at all times to minimize costs and time lost
• Maintain service levels to clients

About you

• A minimum of 1 year of experience working in Transport as a Fleet Controller. 
• Experience with container movements, collections from the wharf and delivery to client
• Sound computer skills. Experience in Freight Tracker and Container Chain not essential, but desirable
• Experienced with 1-Stop
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast paced environment
• Excellent geographical knowledge of the Melbourne metro area
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Full working rights in Australia

• Ethical and professional in all business dealings
• Self-motivated with strong initiative
