About the role

As the successful applicant, your duties as a Metal Fabricator will include but not be limited to:

• working on a large variety of maintenance, building, boilermaking, and repair works 
• onsite stainless steel installation (incl. kitchen benchtops, extraction hoods, handrailing and balustrade etc.)
• stainless steel fabrication incl. sheet metal & pipe/tube
• finishing/polishing of stainless steel to a high standard
• cutting/folding/measuring of metal materials
• adhering to onsite OH&S procedures.

About you 

To be successful in this role, you will need the following: 

• Full Australian working rights essential
• Current QLD Construction White Card essential
• Previous MIG & TIG experience essential
• Min. 3 years previous experience with guillotine, press brake, pan brake, tube/pipe forming etc. 
• Demonstrated ability in stainless steel fabrication & reading detailed drawings
• Ability to work both as part of a team and unsupervised.

The following skills are highly regarded but not essential:

• Mild steel/Aluminium fabrication & MMA welding experience
• Manual lathe and milling operations experience
• Plasma & oxy-fuel cutting experience
• EWP Operators experience
• Forklift license.
