Darren Slater Painter & Decorator is a well-established commercial painting and rendering business working on multiple project sites on the Gold Coast and Brisbane. 

We are seeking a skilled Painters to join our growing team. If you have experience in commercial painting, a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic, we want to hear from you!

Requirements:

• Proven experience in all aspects of painting interior and exterior surfaces, preferably within commercial projects
• Capability to sand, patch, apply paint by brush, roll, spray, texturing
• Able to read drawings if required, not necessary
• Your own basic painting tools
• Capable of working independently and within a team
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s licence
• Available Mon-Fri, minimum 8 hours per day
• Construction White Card

Responsibilities:

• Apply paint to various surfaces, including walls, ceilings, and facades for commercial and industrial projects
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, patching, and setting up the work area
• Ensure the paint is applied evenly for high-quality finish
• Use appropriate tools and techniques to ensure a consistent and durable finish
• Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines and deliver work to the highest standards
• Reliable, punctual with strong attention to detail
• Pre-start safety and risk assessments on all jobs prior to commencing works
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive relationships with our customers
• Adhere to workplace health and safety legislation, processes and procedures
