About the Role

We are seeking a HR Delivery Driver and a HC Delivery Driver responsible for ensuring Aline products and equipment are transported safely and efficiently from one location to another.

Your role will involve, but is not limited to:

• Safe Driving: Ensure the safe operation of the vehicle by following all traffic laws and regulations, using defensive driving techniques, and practicing good vehicle maintenance.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle, checking for any mechanical issues, and ensuring that it is in good working condition. Report all issues immediately.
• Transportation of Goods: Drivers should ensure the secure and timely transportation of their cargo.
• Route Planning: Plan the most efficient routes to reach the destination, taking into account factors like traffic, weather conditions, and road closures.
• Customer Service: Providing excellent customer service and representing Aline positively when engaging with customers during delivery process. Distribution of promotional and marketing material when required.
• Documentation: Keep accurate records of deliveries, pick-ups, mileage, and fuel consumption. Ensure that all necessary paperwork are completed correctly. Accurate records of log books must be maintained and provided to Aline at regular intervals.
• Adherence to Schedule: Maintain a strict schedule when necessary, ensuring that deliveries or pick-ups are made on time.
• Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload cargo, ensuring that it is secure and undamaged.
• Safety Precautions: Follow safety protocols, such as wearing seatbelts and using appropriate safety measures for handling and securing the load.
• Communication: Maintain clear and timely communication with despatchers and customers, providing updates on progress or any issues that may arise during the journey. Customer contact prior to every delivery.
• Compliance: Comply with all relevant regulations, including those related to hours of service, weight restrictions, and any industry-specific requirements.
• Environmental Responsibility: Minimise the environmental impact of driving by practicing fuel-efficient driving and reducing idling time.
• Professionalism: Present a professional image and demeanour while on the job, including maintaining personal hygiene and adhering to dress code requirements.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with changes in traffic laws, vehicle technology, and industry regulations.

About You

• Forklift Licence
• HR and HC licences required, in alignment with position requirements
