Landscape Gardener

A J Gardening & Landscaping Pty Ltd is a small Western suburbs-based business that services the local area and beyond.  We deliver exceptional customer service and uncompromising quality of work to our clients.

We are looking for a Landscape Gardener who loves their work, has a passion for plants and aesthetics, is a great communicator, enjoys working in a team environment in both Landscaping and Gardening.   Immediate start but can be flexible. The position would be casual (5 days a week).

Tasks & responsibilities

• Landscaping role working in a team or solo: fencing, Installation of garden edges and retaining walls, building new gardens and lawns, installation of Astroturf, labour work, decking, paving, and more.
• Gardening role: working in a team providing a gardening service to client which include mowing, whipper snipping, hedge trimming, garden clean-ups, weeding, planting, etc.
• Load and unload equipment
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment including the vehicles, equipment and shed
• Overseeing stock, restock & waste management trip

Qualifications & experience

• Drivers Licence and own car
• Experience in residential or commercial gardening will be an advantage.
• Landscaping/horticulture CERT will be an advantage.
• Good physical fitness and strength
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Able to manage small groups of teams
• Commitment to long-term employment
• Great eye for details
• Hardscaping and softscape experience will be an advantage.
