Jim Pearson Transport is a leading privately owned logistics solutions provider with an extensive list of blue-chip clients. We operate on the East Coast between Brisbane and Sydney. Our Head Office is based in Port Macquarie with depots in Brisbane, Grafton, Taree and Sydney. Our commitment to service and our clients has continued our growth and we are now seeking the right people for the below positions for immediate start.

 

Permanent positions available with Immediate Start.

Experienced HC and MC drivers for local and Interstate work.

• general freight and grocery divisions. 
• AM,PM and weekend shifts available.

HC and MC trainee positions available.

HC wanting to upgrade to MC

 

Qualifications and Experience

• HC or MC experience 
• MC wanting to gain experience
• Forklift licence beneficial 
• Flexibility and availability to work longer hours during our peak periods surrounding public holidays
• General and Refrigerated  transport experience is advantageous but not essential
• We value staff who have the right attitude, flexible in the days/times they are available and can work safely as part of a team

 

Tasks & Duties Include but not limited to

• Local pick ups and deliveries
• Maintaining equipment in good order, reporting issues and or damages
• Working as part of a team and assisting other staff as required
• Working in a safe manner
• Monitoring fridge motors
• Be reliable and punctual with strong work ethic
• Have a positive attitude and demonstrate the ability to be flexible
