MR Truck Driver

About the role

Sydney Laser Engineering is searching for an experienced MR Truck Driver to join our dedicated team in Glendenning, NSW. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of materials and goods across the region, playing a vital role in our manufacturing and logistics operations.

What you'll be doing

• Operate MR class trucks to transport goods and materials between our manufacturing facility, suppliers and customer sites
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and roadworthiness
• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe driving practices
• Assist with loading and unloading of trucks as required
• Communicate effectively with the Production Team, Management Team and customers
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner

What we're looking for

• Valid MR class driver's licence and a minimum of 2 years' experience operating MR trucks
• Strong understanding of road rules and safe driving practices
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
