About the Role:

As our Payroll Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our workforce is paid accurately and on time. You will work closely with HR and finance teams, providing expert payroll advice and maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and award requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-end processing of fortnightly payroll for a diverse workforce.
• Ensuring compliance with Australian payroll legislation and industry awards.
• Managing employee data in payroll systems, including leave, superannuation, and tax.
• Reconciling payroll accounts and preparing payroll reports.
• Responding to employee payroll queries promptly and professionally.
• Assisting with audits, reporting, and process improvements.

About You:

You’re a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of payroll systems and processes. You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy working collaboratively to achieve operational excellence.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably within medium to large organisations.
• Strong understanding of Australian payroll legislation, awards, and tax requirements.
• Experience using payroll software (e.g., MYOB, Xero, or similar).
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workload effectively.
