About the role

Bargain Steel Centre is seeking an experienced Welder to join our team in Burton, SA. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for various welding tasks to support our steel fabrication operations.

What you'll be doing

• Performing welding tasks to assemble and fabricate steel components and structures
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure accurate welding
• Operating a variety of welding equipment and tools
• Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards
• Collaborating with the production team to deliver projects on time
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area

What we're looking for

• Formal welding qualification or equivalent trade certification
• Demonstrated experience as a Welder, ideally in a steel fabrication or manufacturing environment
• Previous experience in fabricating Tubular Fencing/Gates. 
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
• Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Commitment to safety and quality standards
