Jackal Renewables is a specialist recycling business located at New Chum near Ipswich manufacturing Agricultural Soil Amendments for the last 10 years. 

About You ….

We are seeking an experienced Trade Qualified Boilermaker Welder, and some! The position will require strong engineering and fabrication skills. Must be able to read shop drawings and be able to deliver accurate cutting and drilling of materials. Ability to assemble and tack assembly’s together whilst keeping square. Must be comfortable working with heavy box sections, PFC and 25mm plate. Fitting off electrical motors, gearboxes and reduction drives and fitting of belt drives. The applicant must have a keen eye for detail, be able to problem solve with assembly discrepancies and ability to work in a small team.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the successful applicant would have extensive fabrication experience and be comfortable with operating in both the workshop and in the field.

The ideal applicant will be a highly motivated Individual who holds a flexible approach to working hours and environments. Experience with CNC Profile cutting advantageous.
