Digital Marketing Manager - Automotive

A direct importer of new and used vehicles from Japan; Davey Motor Group sells the best cars that the Australian market has missed out on. From 4x4 vans, to sports cars, to hybrids and electric vehicles, our Japan-based buying team is focused on sourcing quality cars for our dealership in Geelong, Victoria. 

We’re one of the first dealers of this kind and are looking to build our team with eager and ambitious talent.

We are seeking a skilled and knowledgeable digital marketer to join our team.  As a marketing manager, you will develop, implement, and administer activity on our internet platforms while coordinating sales leads and information requests generated through the dealership’s websites.

Responsibilities:

• Run marketing campaigns to drive traffic to the dealership
• Build brand awareness for our dealership and service centre
• Monitor and manage responses to internet leads (referral services, social media, and website)
• Manage leads with the sales team via our Client Relationship Management (CRM) software
• Maintain online inventory status and confirm it is up to date and accurate (content and photos)
• Build and maintain online parts sales channel 
• Monthly reporting of digital channels, with advice on next steps to stay relevant online
• Remain up to date on products, market trends and certifications
• Understand and implement dealership sales process

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in digital marketing, ideally 2-5 years (automotive industry preferred) 
• Work experience directly managing paid advertising via search and social media platforms
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mentality.

Helpful Traits

• Knowledge of JDM vehicles
• Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and Google Analytics certification
• Experience in sales
