Machinery Mechanic

Palmer Sea Reef is Australia's premier tropical links golf course located in the paradise of Port Douglas. Consistently ranked in Australia's premier golf courses.

A rare opportunity for an experienced diesel or small engines mechanic has become available. The role will be responsible for overseeing the on course maintenance machinery including diesel, petrol and electric motors, as well as several attachments.

Reporting to the Golf Course Superintendent Skills for the role include but not limited to:

• Knowledge in hydraulic systems, electrical and welding
• Ability to diagnose and repair diesel, petrol and electric motors
• Previous experience maintaining golf course equipment would be advantageous
• Good communication skills
• Able to work in a team environment
• Current driver’s license
• Willingness to engage in professional development and training
• Able to keep detailed records of works and servicing.

This is a full time role however flexible employment arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.
