Our small business requires a well presented qualified motor mechanic experienced in servicing, maintenance and repair of a range of automotive and light commercial vehicles.

We offer a range of mechanical services to both corporate and private customers.  We aim to provide a friendly customer service approach, backed up with excellent technical skills and professional, first class workmanship.

We're seeking an enthusiastic mechanic to expand our business to help us keep up with demand and expand.

This is a full time permanent role.

The applicant MUST have:

• Light vehicle automotive qualification (tradesperson) with preferably 2+ years experience in a qualified role.
• A sense of commitment and reliability
• A current Australian manual car driving license (truck license an advantage but not essential)
• Their own comprehensive tool kit
• Self- motivated worker
• The ability to work unsupervised
• Excellent time management skills
• Basic computer skills
• Excellent diagnostic skills and experience with scan tool
• Must currently reside in Australia and have Australian citizenship or permanent residency

You will be supplied with a uniform, above Award wages, a company vehicle, tools and equipment.  Travel is required to various areas of Brisbane and Ipswich on a daily basis.  You will work independently some days and as a team on others.  To be successful in this role it is essential that you take pride in your work and pay attention to detail.

The successful candidate will receive full time hours over a standard probationary period of 6 months before a permanent position is offered.  There will also be opportunity for overtime.
