Welder

Cain Equipment Australia Pty Ltd is an Australian family owned business who manufactures various truck bodies in the Keysborough area.

We are currently seeking to a fill a number of positions for a Welder.

All positions are full time for an immediate start. 

Consideration for the positions will be given with the following requirements:

• Qualified welder/ boiler maker would be advantageous but not necessary
• Minimum 2 years experience as a welder
• Experience in the operation of MIG, Oxy, Plasma, hand and power tools

Your duties will include but not limited to:

• Welding of steel to create truck bodies
• Repair damages to metal using welding equipment
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to manufacture steel bodies
• Grinding of steel to clean up welds
• Bolting and riveting to join metal sections
• Clean and restore weld preparations where required
• Set up and/or operation of hand and machine tools
• Cut, roll, shape, bend, mould, spin or hammer metal products to fabricate parts or sub-assemblies
