The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Driver / Workshop Service Person to assist our Sumner branch workshop operation with equipment servicing, cleaning, as well as delivering and collecting small hire plant and equipment, provide our customers with outstanding service whilst safely loading and unloading. When necessary the role may also include on-site services when needed. 

You will form part of a growing team who will support you with ongoing training with an opportunity of a career development, whilst enjoying a fun and secured place to work.

About You

You will be in charge of representing and showcasing Direct Hire excellent service, with expert advice whilst at the branch and on-site whilst maintaining high standards of equipment quality through servicing, positive attitude and safety approach to your everyday tasks.

To be successful for this position, the following are preferable:

• Construction White Card (Essential)

• Current C-Class Drivers License (Essential)

• MR Truck License (Desirable but not essential) 

• Forklift License (Desirable but not essential)

• Team worker and willing to learn on the job

• Punctual with professional and safety conscious
