Purpose of the Role

We’re seeking a qualified Plumber to support maintenance services at one of Australia’s major aviation hubs. In this hands-on role, you’ll contribute to essential facility operations, with a focus on service quality, safety, and teamwork.

Reporting to the Team Leader, you’ll work collaboratively within a close-knit technical team to ensure our plumbing systems are operating smoothly and reliably.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide effective maintenance and servicing of plumbing systems (e.g., TMVs, backflow, hot water, and general plumbing)
• Participate in the repair and replacement of hydraulic infrastructure
• Liaise respectfully with clients and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations
• Complete all work efficiently and in line with safety and compliance standards
• Contribute to an on-call rotation (approximately 1 week per month)

Education, Experience & Skills

Essential:

• Certificate III in Plumbing (or equivalent recognised qualification)
• 1-5 years’ experience in a similar position
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence (manual)
• White Card (Construction Induction)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable using mobile tech for job management (iPad provided)

Desirable:

• Previous experience in high-security or critical environments (e.g., airports)
• TMV and Backflow Prevention accreditation

Work Environment & Schedule

This is an on-site position based at Perth Airport, Monday to Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm. One Rostered Day Off (RDO) is offered each month.
