Estimator - Plumbing

The Estimator will participate and have shared responsibility for business development and all tendering activities of the business.

In the role you will be required to;  

• Build client relationships and develop the tendering pipeline.
• Manage and  implement the business strategy to deliver the project pipeline
• Manage time for delivery of bids.
• Prepare tender bids
• Manage Tender documentation.
• Identify value engineering or cost saving opportunities.
• Seek feedback on tender bids.
• Prepare project handovers for projects won.
• Negotiates scopes and contract terms.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of market forces.
• Develop cost plans for projects won.
• Manage scope and contractual matters.
• Design Management.
• Coordinate with project related personnel on day-to-day work activities, and operations to assist in timely completion of the project.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:  

• 2 years’ experience in the Construction Plumbing industry, in similar role is high desirable
• Strong understanding of plumbing standards and concepts
• Computer literate, Word, excel, outlook, estimating software
• Good communication skills verbal and written
• Able to adapt to company procedures
