Custom Air Group is an established business 33 years strong, specialising in Design, Manufacture, Supply & Installation of Custom, Sleeper Cab Air Conditioning Systems & Customised Sleeper Cabin Fit outs. Our Head Office & Factory is based in Somerton Victoria.

We have several divisions that make up our company which cover Design, Metal Fabrication, Assembly, Painting, Installation & Upholstery.

Due to the continued growth of our company, we currently have an opportunity for a Motivated & Suitably Experienced - Dispatch Coordinator to join the team with any of the below preferred qualifications and attributes.

This role requires a self-motivated, responsible person with excellent Communication skills who is able to work unsupervised and as a part of a team, reporting direct to the Production Manager.

In addition, this person will as required be supporting our internal departments with Inventory control Inwards / Outwards.

To be successful, You will possess:

  • Previous Experience in a similar role, a must.

  • Receiving orders via e-mail or online via our e store and processing the orders accurately.

  • Preparing and processing customer/dealer orders for dispatch, including order picking, packing, and labelling.

  • Coordinating with the logistics team to schedule and arrange the safe and timely delivery of goods

  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and reporting on stock levels

  • Ensuring all dispatch documentation, including invoices and shipping documents, are accurate and complete

  • Providing excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and addressing any dispatch-related issues

  • Receiving and dispatching stock from our assembly Department ensuring all deliveries and labelled correctly and with sufficient detail to ensure delivery to the correct address.

  • Ensuring the correct freight method is chosen to meet due date for deliveries.

  • Assisting the Production Manager with a variety of related tasks.

  • Working in a safe manner, complying with all relevant legislation and company approved policies and procedures.

  • Maintaining the work area in a neat and tidy manner as well as general warehouse housekeeping

  • Proven ability to work under pressure and multitask.

  • Effective time management of workflow to meet deadlines.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • The ability to work without Management direction, use initiative and possess a positive attitude towards teamwork is critical.

  • Microsoft Office Suite, computer skills are required.

  • The ability to undertake the inherent physical tasks of the role in a safe manner.

  • Excellent written skills

  • Forklift ticket is required

  • Current driver’s license - mandatory - Manual Preferred

  • Automotive electrical understanding an advantage but not essential.

  • Be clean & well presented.

  • Display strong problem solving and decision-making skills. 

  • Be highly motivated, willing to learn and advance yourself.

This is a full-time position Monday – Friday with opportunity for overtime.
