NQM Gold 2 Pty Ltd is an Australian gold explorer, developer, and producer. Located southwest of Townsville, the Pajingo mine is around 50km from Charters Towers and currently employs approx. 250 people to run the underground mining, and ore processing operations with a continued long life of mine.

Charters Towers is close to Townsville and the beauty of the Great Barrier Reef, and it offers all the attractions of a large regional town in North Queensland.

Kickstart or Grow Your Mining Career - HD Fitters

Whether you're looking to build on your existing skills or bring solid experience to a new environment, this is your opportunity to join a close-knit crew of around 250 people working across underground, and processing.

This is a permanent role on a 7/7 family-friendly roster, with meals, camp accommodation, and quarterly bonuses included. You'll be working with modern equipment like Elphinstone LHDs, Sandvik drills, Atlas Copco trucks, and Caterpillar gear—all while being part of a supportive and safety-focused team.

What We're Looking For:

• Trade qualified (Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology or Engineering - Mechanical)

• Around 2-3+ years of hands-on underground experience (we welcome those with more!)

• Manual driver's licence

• A team player with a strong work ethic and commitment to safety

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently when needed
