School Cleaner

Intrepid Cleaning are seeking experienced school cleaners to join our team on a part time basis for sites across metropolitan WA including Karrinyup, Bentley and Fremantle.

The successful applicant will be available Monday to Friday for shifts between from 8am-3pm or 4pm-10pm and have their own transport.

Description of the role:

• Cleaning classrooms including common areas and staff and student’s toilets.

• Vacuuming and mopping floors.

• Cleaning and disinfecting bathroom fixtures and replenishing consumables.

• Emptying bins and removing rubbish.

• Applying appropriate chemicals to remove stains and dirt.

• Reporting any maintenance issues.

 

Requirements:

• Relevant experience in cleaning schools/offices (minimum 1 year)

• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with school staff.

• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

• Good time management skills with the ability to adjust to changing workloads.

• Good organisational skills with the ability to work unsupervised.

• Ability to show initiative and problem solve. 

• Must hold or be willing to apply for a Working with Children Check card.

• Must hold National Police Clearance
