SPS Property Services are one of the fastest growing home services company in Sydney. We are looking for an experienced maintenance plumber to join our inhouse office team to assist our guys on the field in the plumbing and roofing space.

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years in the plumbing industry specifically in the maintenance space who is able to diagnose issues related to maintenance plumbing.  We are looking for someone who can assist in improving our overall profitability & efficiency within our services. We are looking for an experienced candidate, who can support with coordination of all jobs as well as overseeing all material and inventory.

Applicants duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to:  

 

• Working in conjunction with the operations manager and scheduler on a day to day basis to schedule ongoing works in.

• Review supplier pricing & invoices where needed 

• Arrange material orders where required for both plumbing and roofing

• Overseeing quotes & invoices

• Increasing efficiency in project execution for plumbing and roofing

• Field tech support for plumbers (not roofing)

• Outbound quote follow up and sales 

• Assist dispatcher with coordination

• Attend meetings with new and existing clients to help assist in building strong working relationships

Our ideal applicant will:

• Minimum 5 years in the Plumbing field. Need to have maintenance experience (Please do not apply if you have not had experience in this field) 

• Have sound trade knowledge across the services we offer (extensive training)

• Have sound capability of using a computer

• Have experience in the strata space is highly desirable but not required.

• Excellent written & verbal communication

• Strong attention to detail

• Sales/performance driven

• Be a team player and be able to communicate and develop relationships with our technicians on the road

• Be highly organised and motivated. This role is not suited for persons who do not have a high attention to detail and cannot plan in advanced  

• Be able to develop and build relationships with key clients 

• Be able to forward think, plan and execute on a daily/weekly and monthly basis.
