About the role

Kanyana Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and experienced Brake Press Operator (CNC) to join our dynamic team in Mandurah, Western Australia. As our Brake Press Operator (CNC), you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, using your expertise to operate our state-of-the-art CNC brake press machinery.

What you'll be doing

• Setting up, programming, and operating CNC brake press machines to manufacture various metal components and parts

• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate and precise fabrication

• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting on the CNC brake press equipment

• Collaborating with the production team to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of projects

• Maintaining a safe and organised work environment, adhering to all relevant safety protocols and regulations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Brake Press Operator, preferably in a CNC environment

• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications

• Demonstrated ability to program and operate CNC brake press machinery

• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues and optimise processes

• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow safety protocols

• Strong computer skills - we are a paperless workshop

• Preferably a qualified 2nd-Class fabricator who enjoys working with CNC Machines
