Electrician or Electrical Controls Engineering EOI

Based in Toowoomba, the Obadare Group has established itself as one of the leading engineering, heavy fabrication and inspection companies, servicing clients in the oil and gas, petrochemical, mining and mineral processing, power generation, industrial processing and transport industries, throughout Australia.  As we embark on manufacturing Australian made total rig packages, we are seeking expression of interest applications for the role of Electrical Controls | Electrician. 

What are we looking for? What is on offer? 

We are looking for a versatile electrical and controls all-rounder who can work from design and concept level all the way through to coordinating critical aspects of the build. The business will back you to learn the control systems inputs and work closely with our key subcontractors to deliver the packages. Your role will be a combination of front end design work, specifying equipment, procurement review and support as well as getting hands on with the builds. 

Post design and execution the role will also flow into field support, structuring maintenance schedules and executing a field support subcontract. To succeed in this role we are looking for that combination of electrical and controls background, an Engineering Degree in Electrical or Mechatronics is desirable but not essential.
