Our rapidly expanding Sunshine Coast Architectural metalwork business is looking for an experienced, quality fabricator to join our team.

 

At AMS we have a position available in the role of:

 

Boilermaker/Welder/Sheetmetal worker

            

Australian Metalwork Systems is seeking an experienced welder for a full-time position at our factory in Yandina, Sunshine Coast. We require someone experienced with aluminium pulse mig welding, able to weld to high standards as maintaining the highest quality is integral to our success.

WHAT WE EXPECT OF YOU:

• Perform fabrication and welding tasks as directed by the factory manager

• Read and interpret engineering/fabrication drawings and specifications

• Adhere to OH&S requirements and maintain a safe working environment

• Commitment to adhere to LEAN manufacturing principles and strive to improve efficiency and effectiveness of day to day tasks

• Complete all work to a high standard of accuracy and quality

• Communicate effectively with team members and management

• Reliable

• Experienced in Aluminium pulse mig welding

 

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Trade Qualification in Boilermaking / Sheetmetal cert or trade

• Proficiency in various welding techniques (particularly aluminium pulse MIG) 

• Right to work in Australia
