Sheet Metal Worker

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Worker to join our team at Advanced Sheetmetal Holdings Pty Ltd in Mount Thorley NSW. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for the fabrication & assembly of a wide range of metal products.

What you'll be doing

• Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine project requirements

• Operate sheet metal machinery

• Assemble and manufacture metal products according to client specifications

• Perform general maintenance and repairs on sheet metal equipment

• Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols

• Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to a high standard

What we're looking for

• Completion of a recognised Sheet Metal Worker apprenticeship or equivalent qualification

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Sheet Metal Worker

• Mig & Tig experience

• Stainless Steel experience

• Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications

• Skilled in operating sheet metal machinery and hand tools

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

• Strong teamwork and communication skills

• Knowledge of workplace health and safety practices
