Plumber

We are on the hunt of a plumber to join our team in Hervey Bay!

King Caravans manufacture mobile mining camps, offices, lunchrooms, ablution vans etc and we need a qualified plumber to assist in our new builds as well as general maintenance on our hire fleet.

Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced plumber to join our team and contribute to the construction of our new industrial caravans. You will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems within our caravans. This role requires a meticulous attention to detail, a strong understanding of plumbing principles, and the ability to work effectively within a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities:

Installation of plumbing items in our vans - toilets, showers, vanities, sinks, underslung tanks etc.
Inspect and test plumbing systems to ensure they meet industry standards and regulations.
Diagnose and repair plumbing issues in existing vans as needed.
Collaborate with other team members, including electricians and carpenters to ensure seamless integration of plumbing systems with other components.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on each project.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a plumber, preferably in a construction or industrial setting.
Proficiency in reading drawings/plans
Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Physical stamina and dexterity to perform tasks in various environments and conditions.
Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with colleagues and clients.
