About the role
This is a full-time opportunity to join the team at The Green Room, an innovative florist located in the vibrant suburb of Albert Park, VIC. As the Assistant Manager Florist, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of this thriving retail business, ensuring exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.

What you'll be doing

• Being a part of the retail team delivering exceptional customer experiences both in store and over the phone.

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the store including creating orders and beautiful bouquets for the shop, stock turnover and visual merchandising.

• Provide exceptional customer service, offering product knowledge and creative design to customers.

• Support the Store Manager in achieving key performance targets and business objectives.

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5-10 years' experience in a retail management or supervisory role, preferably within the floral or gift industry

• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to provide exceptional product knowledge and design advice

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, motivate and develop a team

• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a keen eye for detail

• Passion for the floral industry and a commitment to staying up-to-date with trends and best practices

• Proficient in using retail management software and point-of-sale systems
