The Role

We are looking for a professionally qualified Installer with a well-rounded skillset in the construction and installation of signs. The ideal candidate will have experience across various signage types, including large format, illuminated, fabricated, and digital displays. Strong experience in print and vinyl application is essential, and shopfitting or carpentry skills will be highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Construction and installation of a wide variety of signage, including illuminated, fabricated, vinyl, and large-format signage.
  • Safe and efficient handling of installation tools, materials, and equipment.
  • Working at heights and ensuring full compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Application of vinyl graphics, digital prints, and vehicle wraps with precision and attention to detail.
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate installation.
  • Traveling Interstate regularly with overnight projects and driving daily across South East Queensland.
  • When no installs are scheduled, required to work in Factory based on the Sunshine Coast.
  • Conducting site inspections and preparing installation areas for optimal results.
  • Minor carpentry work related to signage structures, including framing, panel mounting, and structural reinforcements.
  • Liaising with clients and team members to ensure high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in sign installation, with a strong understanding of signage construction or an allied field
  • Expertise in vinyl application and large-format print handling.
  • Carpentry or shopfitting experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Industry certifications such as EWP (Elevated Work Platform), Working at Heights, and White Card (preferred).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • A valid driver’s license (MR license advantageous).
  • Commitment to safety, quality standards, and project deadlines.
