Experienced Baker – Bakers Delight

Full Time

We are currently seeking a Baker to join our or Bakers Delight stores in Eastlands Shopping Centre.

If you are applying for the qualified baker role, trade qualifications in Cakes, Pastry and Bread are essential. As an apprentice you will be shown and taught all that is required of the role.

Bakers Delight operates over a 7 day period. The successful applicant MUST be available to work a range of different shifts.

Weekend and public holiday work will be required. 

Reporting directly to the (role), your key roles and responsibilities will include:

• Producing great tasting breads, pastries and sweets
• Working with other Bakers and the (supervisor role) to ensure a high standard of the product quality and range is achieved
• Excellent organisational and communication skills to ensure product is delivered on time to meet customer demands 
• Achieving a high standard of cleanliness 
• Maintain a high level of safety 
• Providing excellent customer service 
• Supporting other team members and foster good working relationships 

Other key requirements include, but are not limited to:

• Effectively working within a great team of bakers who want to succeed
• Encourage “out of the box thinking”
• Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude to problem solving
• Career progression/orientated and driven to succeed
