M2E Services are currently looking for a motivated and hardworking electrical apprentice to join our company. 

 

About the role:

Based in Mackay you will be working for a well established electrical company that specialises in the mining, port and mill projects and shutdowns. 

You will work alongside an experienced team of engineers, supervisors and electricians to help you gain skills in electrical installations, maintenance and commissioning.

You will also be looking to complete tertiary study in electrical engineering whilst completing your apprenticeship.

 

About you:

• Have a positive attitude, be motivated and keen to learn.
• You will have completed year 12 with outstanding grades.
• Be considering/completing tertiary study.
• Ability to work as part of team and take directions from supervisors.
• Have a driver’s license with your own transport.
• You will not be addicted to social media nor your mobile phone.
• Australian citizen or permanent resident.

 

 

Desirable Criteria

• Previous experience as an electrical apprentice highly regarded. (People currently completing an electrical apprentice are encouraged to apply)
• LVR / CPR Certificate
• Construction Card
• Current Coal Board Medical
• Standard 11
• EWP
• Confined Space
• Working at heights.
