The Role

We are seeking a qualified and passionate IT Support Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the CEO and collaborating with IT executive managers, this role will provide direct support to staff across our Brisbane office and warehouse operations. This is a full-time, permanent position, Monday to Friday.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide primary user support and maintain high levels of customer service for all staff
  • Respond promptly to support requests submitted via email, in person, and telephone
  • Install, support, and troubleshoot company IT equipment including desktop computers, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and phones
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including software installation, configuration, and basic problem resolution
  • Maintain detailed registry of IT hardware and software assets
  • Manage procurement, ordering, and tracking of IT hardware, software, and services
  • Handle account creation and maintenance for internal staff
  • Implement and maintain IT security protocols and best practices
  • Follow relevant workplace health and safety procedures

 

Key Selection Criteria

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent demonstrated work experience in IT support
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to build and maintain quality relationships with stakeholders
  • Professional approach with exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated aptitude for adapting to and understanding new technologies
  • Solid working knowledge of Windows operating systems, mobile device management, and Microsoft 365 administration
  • Basic working knowledge of LAN and WAN hardware, protocols, and technologies
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to team objectives
  • Passion for continuous learning and staying current with technology trends
