Water Services Operator - Launceston

As a Water Services Operator at TasWater you’ll play a vital role in the daily operation and maintenance of our infrastructure, ensuring the long-term success of our team’s continuous provision of essential services to customers in and around Launceston City and suburbs.

Your contributions to daily planned maintenance, reactive works and emergency responses are essential to ensuring the delivery of safe drinking water & compliant management of sewerage, thereby making a significant impact on the wellbeing of our community.

• Participate in on-call, occasional overtime and emergency call-out situations (all with additional pay and in a structure that supports you as well as our team needs).

The position is paid an hourly rate of $34.10 during probation, then $35.99 once successfully completed. The position also attracts on call, over time and other allowances.
 

Our team are open to the successful candidate for this role commencing when they are able; we do not have a specific date we need the role to commence.
